Introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring
Learn at your own pace with this online course that serves as an introduction to fetal heart monitoring (FHM). Completing this program provides perinatal clinicians with tools to interpret FHM data, implement interventions, and evaluate the effect of interventions on maternal and fetal well-being. Five sections cover:
- Maternal-fetal overview
- Uterine and fetal physiology
- Electronic monitoring
- Monitoring and interventions
- Risk management
Each section includes knowledge checks and practice exercises to highlight key learning points. Case studies enable you to apply what you learn to scenarios where decisions can influence fetal outcome.

Neonatal Orientation and Education Program (NOEP)
Prepare your nurses with up-to-date clinical information needed for patient care, ensuring them a comprehensive and consistent learning experience. NOEP prepares nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking and assessments skills needed to implement care for neonates. NOEP is also an excellent tool to enhance the knowledge base of experienced nurses.
NOEP includes 12 scripted presentation modules, pre- and post-tests, instructions for presenters, slide handout pages, references, a program evaluation tool and continuing education credit application.
Participants can receive up to a total of 52 CNE contact hours upon completing the program.

Perinatal Orientation and Education Program
POEP provides nurses with the theoretical knowledge needed to provide holistic family-centered care to women, their infants and family members during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. The program is targeted to registered nurses who are new to perinatal nursing.
POEP includes 10 PowerPoint presentation modules in PDF format. Each module includes instructions for presenters, handouts pages, references, additional reading lists, a program evaluation tool and continuing education credit application.
Participants can receive up to a total of 57.3 CNE contact hours upon completing the program.
