    AWHONN CONTACT HOURS At this time, the maximum CNE that can be earned while attending the 2010 pre-convention, post-convention and convention educational activities is 34.75 contact hours. This number includes CNE offered for poster review and attendance at optional events such as the Headlines in Healthcare Breakfast. To obtain contact hours for a session, you must attend the entire session and complete an on-line evaluation of it.

    ACCREDITATION STATEMENT Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

    Accredited status does not imply endorsement by AWHONN or the American Nurses Credentialing Center of any commercial products displayed or discussed in conjunction with an educational activity. AWHONN also holds California and Alabama BRN numbers: California CE provider #CEP580 and Alabama #ABNP0058. AWHONN has received the ANCC Premier Program Award for innovation and excellence in continuing nursing education.

    AMERICAN COLLEGE OF NURSE MIDWIVES (ACNM) CEU CREDIT An application for continuing education credit will be filed with ACNM.

    PHARMACOLOGY CONTENT AWHONN broadly defines pharmacology content as reference to the origin, nature, effects and uses of drugs. Sessions with pharmacology content are labeled Rx. and include the amount of time the presenter will discuss pharmacology. Please see the Final Program or check back with the AWHONN convention website for a final tally of contact hours, the number of minutes of pharmacology content in each session and ACNM approvals.
