The evening will include the following presentation: Title: The California Maternal Data Center: A User-Friendly Tool (Really!) for Using Data to Drive Quality Improvement The California Maternal Data Center (CMDC) helps hospitals improve quality around Elective Deliveries Under 39 Weeks—and other nationally-endorsed perinatal metrics—in a way that is low-burden, low cost and high value for participants. The secure, web-based data submission process is simple and substantially reduces the need for chart review for the Elective Delivery measure. In addition, participation in the program is free through 2014 given generous funding from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF).
