Fetal Heart Monitoring Case Assessment & Testing (FHMCAT), Expanded

This interactive simulation program assesses “real-life” decisions of learners as they interpret and choose clinical responses to case studies with EFM tracings. The program is designed to supplement classroom learning and to enhance clinicians’ abilities to analyze tracings by providing feedback with rationales as well as numerical scoring compared to expert reviewers. Online reporting capabilities allow documentation of staff compliance with educational goals.


Intended Audience:

The program is designed for clinicians with knowledge and expertise in fetal monitoring who have previously completed intermediate level education and who use fetal monitoring in intrapartum practice..
