Fetal Heart Monitoring Case Assessment and Testing (FHMCAT) Advanced Level
Share |

This online interactive simulation program assesses “real-life” judgments of learners as they interpret and choose appropriate clinical interventions in response to complex EFM tracings. The program is designed to supplement classroom learning and enhance clinicians’ critical thinking skills by providing feedback with rationales and scoring of decisions compared to expert reviewers.

This version of the FHMCAT Advanced Level has been expanded to provide the user the opportunity to select the interpretative characteristics of EFM tracings and to select clinical management strategies. The user test % reflect comparison to expert reviewers.

The program is designed for perinatal clinicians with advanced knowledge and expertise in fetal monitoring who have previously completed intermediate and/or advanced EFM education and who use fetal monitoring in intrapartum practice.
