FHM Instructor Agreement Expiration Notice

FHM Instructors are required to update and/or disclose any potential/significant conflicts of interest that may impact their teaching the AWHONN courses. Your Instructor Conflict of Interest will expire within 30 days. The Conflict of Interest is posted online for review and acceptance.


Acceptance of the agreement allows Instructors to continue registering courses and to continue teaching in the program without interruption of Instructor status. 


30 Day Email Notice

30 days prior to your expiration date, an automated email will be sent to the email address in your profile. The email will contain a link that will allow you to update and renew your agreement.

New Course / Workshop ID Format

As of January 11, 2016, all newly created course ID's will not contain three letter hospital codes. Moving forward, all courses will start with 000 followed by the correct letter representing the course type.


W = Intermediate

A = Advanced

I = Instructor


Example: 000A11778

How to Copy an Existing Course

Copying an Existing Course


If you need to create a courses that’s very similar to an already existing one, you can use the “copy” feature to expedite the process. Follow the steps below to copy a course.

  1. After logging in and accessing your instructor status page, click Search / Edit / Copy Courses
  2. Next, use the search feature to locate the course you wish to copy
  3. From the search results, click the course number to access that course
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Copy button
  5. The course will be instantly copied into a new course. Note, all details from the previous course will be copied into the new course.
  6. Now that you have copied the course, you can edit the following details:
  • Requested Date
  • Site Name
  • Site City, State and Country
  1. You can also modify the instructors. Do remember that all instructors must be validated using the validate button before proceeding.
  2. When done, click the Add button
  3. The final page will provide you with the new course ID

Why Do I See a Blank Page After Clicking A FHM Link

After logging in and accessing an instructor’s page, you see only the page title without any content.

Cause: The most like reason would be the use of a dated browser that does not support some of the latest web technologies used on this site.

Solution: Download and install one of the recommended web browsers below.

How to access FHM Instructor and Administrator Pages

FHM Instructors and Course Administrators 

Step 1: From the main menu, click on Professional Resources and then Fetal Heart Monitoring.


Step 2: Once on the FHM page, scroll down to locate and click the FHM Instructor & Administrator Login link. ​


Step 3: If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so. After providing your credentials, you will be redirected to the appropriate FHM Instructor page. 


General FHM Administrators  

To create, edit and copy courses, just click here to access the General FHM Administrator Community. You will be required to login prior to accessing.
