February 2018

Greetings from AWHONN Texas Section:

We would like to invite you to participate in the 2018 AWHONN Texas Section Conference Silent Auction. The AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses) mission is “promoting the health of women and newborns” and the professional growth of the nurses who care for this unique population of patients.  Each year an annual conference is held in one of our beautiful cities in the state of Texas.  We offer Evidence-Based education to nurses, and recognize nurses and their research for advancement in healthcare in the field of women’s health, obstetrics, and neonatal care.

Our expected attendance for our annual conference is 250 nurses and other healthcare providers in Texas. Our conference will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas August 9-11, 2018.  Every year we have a Silent Auction to raise funds for non-profit organizations that promote health for women and neonates.  This year 100% of funds raised will benefit the “Every Woman Every Baby” campaign.  Gifts support professional development of members, research to improve nursing practice and patient care, and activities that promote the health of women and newborns. For more information, please visit Every Woman Every Baby.

The conference will be held at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, 900 N. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78401

Your donation will be an excellent opportunity to promote your company while supporting the professional growth of perinatal and women’s health nurses.  We will provide our Tax ID number if you choose to participate in our Silent Auction.   For further information, please contact Shelley White-Corey at BrazosValleyAWHONN@gmail.com.   We look forward to a very exciting conference this year and hope you choose to support Texas AWHONN.

Sincerely,

Shelley White-Corey
