Join us to review the normal physiologic changes related to pregnancy and how these changes may increase the risk for a cardiac event.  Discuss the most probable causes for maternal arrest, assessment strategies to identify critical clinical situations, and modifications of resuscitation required by pregnant and postpartum women.  Experience hands-on simulation to practice skills, teamwork and critical thinking with maternal resuscitation scenarios.

Please wear comfortable clothes for simulation.

6 nursing contact hours will be awarded at the completion of the course.
