AWHONN Leadership Development Conference (LDC)
January 20-22, 2023 | Long Beach, CA
Each year, AWHONN gathers some of the brightest, most experienced members of our community for the Leadership Development Conference (LDC). The purpose of the LDC is to offer AWHONN volunteer leaders an opportunity to engage in guidance, training, and discussions to help AWHONN support its mission and accomplish strategic goals and annual targets nationally, locally, and globally.
When
- Friday, January 20
Registration, begins at 3:00 p.m., Program begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Welcome Reception from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. - Saturday, January 21
Breakfast starting at 7:00 a.m. with programming from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. - Sunday, January 22
Breakfast starting at 7:00 a.m. with the scheduled sessions concluding at 12:00 p.m.
Who Should Attend
- Elected Section Leaders are strongly encouraged to attend (Chair and Secretary Treasurer)
- Non-elected Section and Chapter Leaders optional
By the end of the LDC you will be able to apply these learning outcomes:
- Implement Section/Chapter level initiatives that align with AWHONN strategic goals
- Effectively engage current and new volunteers in the post-pandemic environment
- Properly utilize and promote the AWHONN Brand
- Practice skills that promote wellness and well-being for high performing leaders

Registration for the 2023 LDC is $105. This conference is intended for elected section leaders. Non-elected section and chapter leaders are also welcome to attend!
