Section Chair

Mindy Rathe-Hart 

Mindy Rathe-Hart was elected Section Chair of the Nebraska Section in 2015. She has over 17 years of nursing experience including experience as a staff nurse in obstetrics and as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health. Mindy received her Masters of Science from the UNMC in 2006. She practiced as a WHNP in a large outpatient Women's Health Care setting focusing on ob/gyn and urogynecology for several years and now is employed as the Fetal Care Center Coordinator at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha. As a coordinator, Mindy works closely with families whose unborn children have been diagnosed with congenital anomalies.





Tiffany E. Nordmeyer

Tiffany was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Nebraska Section in 2015. Tiffany graduated from Clarkson College with her BSN and her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University. She has been a nurse for over 17 years, spending her first five years at the Nebraska Medical Center in Med-Surg. The last twelve years have been spent at CHI Health Lakeside Hospital where she is the Women’s Health Educator for Obstetrics. She currently holds certifications in Inpatient Obstetrics, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, & Child Passenger Safety.



Legislative Coordinator
Julie Ford

Julie Ford assumed the role of Legislative Coordinator in 2011. She has over 35 years of experience in obstetrics as a staff nurse, lead nurse, and associate nurse manager. She has been an active member of AWHONN since 1987 and served as Nebraska Section Secretary-Treasurer from 1994-1998. She has been an intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring instructor for over ten years, and is certified in inpatient obstetrics. Julie received her nursing Diploma from St. Lukes School of Nursing, Duluth MN in 1973 and her BSN from UNMC in 2002. She is currently an Associate Nurse Manger for Women’s Services at The Nebraska Medical Center. 




Membership Coordinator
Joely Goodman

Joely Goodman assumed the role of Membership Coordinator in 2011. She has worked as a staff nurse in obstetrics and providing prenatal education since graduating with her BSN from UNMC in 2008. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University and is currently continuing her education through the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches obstetrics for Creighton University’s undergraduate nursing program on the Hastings campus.
