Convention Travel Update

The AWHONN Annual Convention is still scheduled to take place June 24-28 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Attendees and participants should take responsible travel precautions in preparation for Tropical Storm Cindy, which is predicted to bring heavy rains, wind gusts and potential flooding to areas along the Gulf Coast. Please check your airline carrier for flight updates and maintain safety guidelines throughout your travels. Check the Convention website, the Convention app and AWHONN social media platforms for any weather or scheduling updates. We wish you safe travels to the Convention and the New Orleans area.

Convention has been amazing. It is so refreshing to be surrounded by like-minded nurses. The sessions were excellent and I learned so much about leadership and that all nurses are leaders. If you have any doubts about coming to New Orleans, if it is worth the money, let me assure you it is worth every dollar you spend.
