AWHONN Seeking Committee Members for Fellows Task Force
Share |

AWHONN is seeking applications for members interested in serving on a task force to develop and implement the administrative and structural components of an AWHONN Fellow’s Program.  Eligibility criteria include:

  • Active membership in AWHONN
  • Current designation as a Fellow by another health-related organization
  • Able to firmly commit to 2-4 hours of volunteer service per month through June 2021. The majority of meetings will take place virtually, though there may be an in-person meeting either at AWHONN headquarters or during the 2020 Annual Convention. Expenses would be covered for any in-person meetings that occur outside of an annual convention.

AWHONN Fellow Designation

The designation as a Fellow of The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (FAWHONN) recognizes nurse leaders who have made substantive and sustained contributions to the health of women and newborns beyond their role expectations. AWHONN Fellows will demonstrate outstanding contributions to clinical practice, research, education or policy, regionally, nationally, or globally, that are reflective of AWHONN’s mission.

The deadline to apply is August 30, 2019.
