Join us in celebrating the first ever Perinatal Nurses Week October 10-16! Perinatal Nurses Week was conceived of, planned and created by a group of AWHONN members who thought it was time for their colleagues to be honored for the work you do with a week devoted to celebration.*

AWHONN nurses are educators, coaches, and advocates and play a critical role in ensuring a patient’s healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum experience. 2020 has brought the resilience and strength of the nursing profession to the nation’s attention, and as part of our community, you are committed to your patients and deserve to be recognized. Perinatal Nurses Week is a time to celebrate you and the work you do caring for women, newborns, and their families. Please join us in honoring our dedicated health care professionals this week and beyond.
