  Critical Care Obstetrics Education (CCOE)
The Critical Care Obstetrics Education (CCOE) is an online library that will enable nurses to identify high-risk and critically ill obstetric patients. This program features evidence-based education targeted to the care of the critically ill obstetric patients and the unique challenges of providing care for patients with life threatening condition and complications. 
   Fetal Heart Monitoring Simulation (FHMSIM) Online Program
This interactive simulation program is framed around an intrapartum patient case study with associated electronic fetal monitoring tracing. This program is designed for intrapartum registered nurses who have knowledge and expertise in electronic fetal monitoring and who have previously completed intermediate level education.
   Maternal Fetal Triage Index Educational Course
The Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) educational course educates perinatal nurses about obstetric triage basics—what triage means in obstetrics, the nurses’ role, and how a systematic approach can be beneficial to improve the process of triage and outcomes.
   Neonatal Orientation and Education Program, Third Edition, (NOEP3)    
Education and consistent care are crucial to helping improve safety and outcomes on your level II or III NICU. The Neonatal Orientation and Education Program, Third Edition, (NOEP3) addresses both factors and gives you a total solution to your staffing education and orientation needs. 
   Perinatal Orientation & Education Program, Fourth Edition, (POEP4)
The new Perinatal Orientation & Education Program, Fourth Edition (POEP4), is highly effective in providing evidence-based, clinical education to perinatal nurses. POEP helps to mitigate patient risk, increase staff efficiency, and promote optimal obstetric outcomes while saving your healthcare system time and money.    POST-BIRTH Education Program 
The POST-BIRTH Education program includes online education on maternal morbidity and mortality and how to deliver consistent messages about warning signs that can signal serious complications. AWHONN’s PPH Education course consists of eight online, self-paced modules that use an interdisciplinary approach to education; improving how your entire team works together to improve clinicians’ recognition of, readiness for, response to, and reporting of postpartum hemorrhage. This course provides CME and CNE.
 

Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy Education
Severe hypertension is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality and morbidity. These nine online, self-paced hypertension education modules use an interdisciplinary approach to education; improving how your entire team works together to improve clinicians’ recognition of, readiness for, response to, and reporting of severe hypertension in the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. 


The Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy (HTN) course is located in the AWHONN Online Learning Center (OLC). Use the keyword HTN to locate the course and for more information.

Venous Thromboembolism in Pregnancy (VTE) Education                                                          
Venous thromboembolism remains one of the leading causes of maternal mortality and morbidity. These seven online, self-paced education modules use an interdisciplinary approach to education; improving how your entire team works together to improve clinicians’ recognition of, readiness for, response to, and reporting of venous thromboembolism in the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. There are pre- and posttests for all modules.

AWHONN members can access more than 30 journal CNE credit hours for free at the AWHONN Online Learning Center (fee applies for nonmembers). For completion, learners must read the article in its entirety, successfully complete a posttest, and complete an feedback
