2026 AWHONN Convention Scholarships

Through the generous support of AWHONN’s charitable giving program, Every Woman, Every Baby, AWHONN is offering up to 32 Convention Scholarships to Full Members. Convention Scholarships provide Full Members an opportunity to attend the AWHONN Convention by covering the Full Member registration rate.

Every Woman, Every Baby is also pleased to offer 5 Convention Scholarships to our Student Members covering Convention registration, hotel accommodations for 5 nights at the Convention hotel, and airfare (up to $550/round trip).

Members experiencing financial hardship and members of underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

  • Applicant is a current AWHONN Full Member in good standing
  • Applicant is a registered nurse in women’s health, neonatal, or obstetrics specialties.
  • Applicant was not a recipient of AWHONN Convention Scholarship in the past two years (2024 and 2025).
  • Student scholarship applicants:
    • AWHONN Student Member in good standing
    • Must be a full-time undergraduate student member in good standing at the time of application

Application Process

All applicants must complete the application form and agree to the terms by Monday, March 15, 2026, 5 pm EST to be eligible.

The selection committee will review applications and will notify selected applicants via email no later than the end of April 2026.

Selected Applicants Must Agree to the Following:

  • AWHONN is responsible for covering Convention registration fees for Full Members.
  • Applicant is responsible for costs associated with lodging, transportation, food, and incidentals (Full Members only).
  • Student applicant is responsible for costs associated with food and incidentals.
  • Applicant must attend and participate for the entire duration of the AWHONN Convention.
  • Applicant will need to submit a testimonial about their experience at the AWHONN Convention.
  • If an applicant is no longer able to attend for any reason, they must submit a written cancellation notification to scholarship@awhonn.org.
  • Transfers to another member or colleague are not permitted.
