AWHONN Nurses Help Families with Diaper Need

More than 3 Million Diapers have been donated by Nurses to Diaper Banks throughout the U.S. Since 2015

Why You Should Donate

  • 1 in 3 families don’t have all the diapers they need to keep their infants clean, dry and healthy.
  • Nurses see health complications of the serious rashes and infection created when parents leave wet or soiled diapers on for too long, or dry and reuse diapers.

Working in partnership with Huggies®, and the non-profit National Diaper Bank Network , AWHONN members in hospitals and health facilities throughout the U.S. collect diapers to give to their most vulnerable patients.

Along with Huggies® Brand, AWHONN Nurses say “We got you, baby!”

Making a Difference

  • In 2019, AWHONN’s Healthy Mom&Baby Diaper Drive, sponsored by Huggies®, won a prestigious “Associations Advance America®” Award for “improve the lives of others.
  • Working in partnership with diaper maker Huggies (TM) and the non-profit National DiaperBank Network, since 2015, AWHONN nurses have collected and shared more than 3 million diapers with families in need right in their own communities.
