Get Involved!

There are often opportunities available for members to get involved at the Section (state) and Chapter (local) levels. Some of the available positions that may be of interest include—but are not limited to—Chapter Coordinator, Legislative Coordinator, Membership Coordinator, Conference Planning, and Education Coordinator.

To see if your Section is looking for volunteer help, use this resource to locate your Section’s web page. You can then reach out to leadership in that Section to get more information about becoming a local leader or volunteer. Getting involved at the local levels is one of the best ways to get more out of your membership and to learn more about AWHONN and help advance its mission. If you run into any problems or have more questions, please reach out to Steven Aspacher, AWHONN’s Senior Manager of Membership and Marketing.
