November 16, 2020 – WASHINGTON, DC –AWHONN, the Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, presented the association’s Awards of Excellence at its virtual annual convention last week.
AWHONN Awards of Excellence recognize and honor nurses who make extraordinary contributions in promoting the health of women, newborns, and families at the local, state, national, and international levels.
The following awards were presented:
- The Award of Excellence in Education was presented to Susan Drummond, MSN.
- The Award of Excellence in Leadership was presented to Amy Dagestad, MSN, RN, NE-BC, RNC-OB.
- The Award of Excellence in Practice was presented to Anqelique Silva, MS, BSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM.
- The Award of Excellence in Research was presented to Jinhee Park, PhD, RN.
